About KaiROS

KaiROS is an automated family logistics hub designed to eliminate the mental load of household scheduling. Built for modern parents, KaiROS replaces chaotic group texts and scattered paper flyers with an intelligent, offline-first mobile app.

Core features include a proprietary "Snap-to-Event" image processing engine that instantly extracts logistics from paper handouts, seamless Gmail extraction for coach and school emails, and a "Connected Village" permission system that allows families to securely share specific events with grandparents and caregivers.

Founder Bio

Headshot

Nick Gaugler is a Lead Data & Platform Engineer and the founder of KaiROS Calendar LLC. With a deep background in building scalable cloud infrastructure, Python, and PostgreSQL, he recognized that the business calendars tech giants provide were fundamentally broken for family use.

Living in Brecksville, Ohio, with his wife—a full-time teacher—and their two children, the breaking point came when managing paper school flyers, youth sports club logistics, and the weekly household meal rotation became a second full-time job. He engineered KaiROS from the ground up to treat family logistics as first-class data, giving parents their time and peace of mind back.
